Meet Grady and Captain
Paige Daniels is the proud owner of two "wonderful pups!" Meet Grady (left) and Captain. Thanks for sharing, Paige.

Claire Bow won their hearts
Claire Bow, one of our favorite Westies, has been part of Tina Melton's family for a year now - and both dog and humans are loving it, Tina writes. "I wanted to write in and let you know how well she doing, how fabulous she is, and how spoiled she is! We love her beyond measure! After Lucy, I did not know my heart could love like this again. Claire Bow has the entire family and a huge chunk of the neighborhood wrapped around her paw." There's much more to the letter, and our hearts are glad, indeed, for the good news.

Bentley says 'Howdy'!
Thanks, Elizabeth, for sharing your photos of Bentley, including this cute one of him dressed for a roundup! At 15, he still looks ready to ride the range!

Bears, beware of Rigby!
You won't believe what one of our former pups did this summer. The owner's mom writes: "Dr. and Mrs. McCaskill: One of your puppies is our grand dog Rigby Owen Thomas, who will turn 13 on July 25th. He is THE best boy and has been visiting us in Asheville while his parents and two-legged siblings have been traveling. This morning, he scared off a bear in the neighbor’s yard with his barking!"

Mister is perfect!
Renee Glover has a right to be proud of her Mister: This summer, he won Triple High Score at the Mattaponi (Va.) Kennel Club's all-breed rally. "Winning High Triple Score at an all-breed rally trial is a very big deal," Renee says. "But doing it by earning three perfect 100 scores makes it even more special." This is Triple Q 15 for Mister, she adds.

Bodacious Bodie!
Edie Nixon and Betty Williams are proud to share this photo of their talented and beautiful Bodie. Bodie has swept the Kentucky shows with 2 major wins and a Best in Sweepstakes!

Introducing Boo
Boo's owner recently shared this photo of his favorite Westy, Boo. Boo apparently likes fire hydrants even more than your typical Westy!

Watch Boo box
Boo likes pretending he's a boxer, as you can see in the video provided by his owner. Wonder if he also can impersonate a setter?

One happy Westy!
Melinda and Jerry wrote recently to say how pleased they are that Finn of the Glen is happy having them in his family. "Oh my, words cannot describe how over the moon we are with Finn! He has accepted us as his people and fits right into our little family," they recently wrote us. "Finn is fitting into his new neighborhood as well," they add. "We go on lots of walks. He loves people and has already made a couple of dog friends." Well, Melinda and Jerry, we are glad to see that you all are doing so well together!

Calvin does it again!
Calvin recently won his second Fast Cat title. "FCAT2!!!!!!!" writes Jody, his ecstatic human. Calvin seems to be saying, "What did you expect?"

Jagger earns his MACH
Jagger and Vicki show off Jagger's Master Agility Championship ribbon, earned last fall. Two weeks later at the AKC Agility Invitational in Orlando, Jagger claimed the coveted Westie Medallion and placed No. 4 in the 8-inch class. "It was a surreal day!" Vicki says.

Happy Holidays for Sir Winston
One of our friends, Christine, shared this holiday photo of her “constant companion,” Sir Winston. “I thought you might enjoy seeing Sir Winston at the dining room table waiting for his Christmas dinner! He is just precious!” Thanks, Christine. We think he is, too!

Grady loves his boat!
Grady and his friend, Paige, enjoy cruising together. Paige clearly loves both the boat and the dog, since he named Grady after the boat's maker, Grady-White.

Mark Petry shares these photos about the life of Hercules, one of Ms. Lillie’s and Mr. Houdini’s puppies. This first one is of Hercules hanging out at the home of Mark’s parents.
